The location is fantastic. The marsh is a must visit when in the area. Dead Dog has a casual bar atmosphere. The seafood on the menu is limited. More bar type food which we liked. So we had a little wait, but nothing crazy. Once at our table the waiter was responsive initially. Near the end of the night we had to ask a bus boy to get him so we could pay. My friend ordered wings (all flats) and received all drums. I ordered the brisket Mac and cheese. The meat was tender, but had no flavor but the macaroni and cheese was very good. Overall not really a bad place. Just an off night I would expect.

This place has excellent atmosphere. We sat out on the deck near the water. They start off bringing you a basket of hush puppies with honey butter. That was incredible. My girlfriend and I had a late lunch so we just ordered a bowl of French Onion soup I had a bowl of chili. Both were excellent! And the service was excellent! We will be back to try other things now.

GREAT food in a fun, comfortable atmosphere! The pictures of departed but well loved dogs covering the dogs is actually really touching. The views of the Marshwalk as well as Murrell's Inlet itself are awesome. Capping it off was a phenomenally helpful staff, particularly Ava our server, who made some great recommendations off the menu. LOVED this place and will be back often! EDIT #2: And we came back a couple weeks later, the service and food was just AS good, no surprise!! Blair was our wonderful and welcoming server. Keep up the great job, Team Dead Dog!!

Great, fun place to eat or have a drink. The service was great, had no wait at all, the food was very good. The walls are filled with framed photos of pets that have passed away. Very different, there's literally thousands of pictures.

My favorite place at Murrells inlet. Where else can you go that family/kid friendly plus have a bar atmosphere, live bands, quick service. I mean this place runs like a well oiled machine. Ate here several times. Wait times can vary. We were told 35 minutes but got seated in just 10 minutes. Watched live music while we waited. It is loud but you can still talk. Every waiter/waitress is spot on. Great attitude. Food is great. I’ve tried just about everything. Pulled pork was a little dry to my liking but chopped brisket is very good. They do serve breakfast on early hours. Truly if you are in or near this place stop in 1,2, or 3 times. Worth it.

The fish sandwich is wonderful. In fact, we ate there two days in a row because of it. There are tons of past dogs all over the walls. Nice memory of everyone's dogs. Right on the water with lots of seating.

We had a wonderful family visit to Dead Dog Saloon! The restaurant’s waterfront location is beautiful, and we were able to find parking without any trouble, which made getting settled in easy. We tried the shrimp appetizer, crab dip, margaritas, and the fun Pirate Punch. Everything was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. We loved the energy of the place, and the atmosphere felt very welcoming for families. Our server, Brittany, was exceptional. She checked on us often, answered questions kindly, and made sure everyone at the table felt taken care of. Great service really makes a difference, and she certainly made ours memorable. The combination of good food, friendly service, and a relaxing view makes Dead Dog Saloon a wonderful spot for families to enjoy a meal together. Highly recommended
